Pfizer Vaccines Global Innovation Challenge Open – Apply by September 17th!

The recent pandemic highlighted the importance of immunization and the communication of important information regarding vaccinations. In line with Pfizer’s mission to ensure that patients and medical centers worldwide have access to life saving vaccines, and educating patients on their importance, Pfizer is looking for new and innovative approaches that will address several vaccine challenges.

Who can apply?

Pfizer is interested in innovative companies providing solutions in the following areas of the vaccine patient journey:

  1. Information and Education

Pfizer is seeking ways to create awareness of recommended vaccines, their risks and benefits, and the importance of staying up to date among adolescents and adults, as well as their HCPs. Solutions could include methods for identifying and reaching out to appropriate patient populations, flagging them for HCP discussions, and/or straightforward communication of vaccine recommendations.

  1. Access and Administration

The other area of interest is identifying locally/globally legal and regulatory-compliant ways for appropriate patients to access recommended vaccines, either through new channels like e-prescriptions or via delivery/administration innovation, such as HCP’s administering injections on demand at home.

Selection Criteria

Along with being compliant with all local and globally applicable legal and regulatory requirements, challenge participants should have the capability to launch the solution in market in 2022, understand vaccine value to broad population sets in terms of healthcare coverage and productivity, and have a scalable solution, differentiated within the competitive landscape (see full criteria description here).

How to apply?

If the above sounds like you, submit your application here by Sep 17th, 2021! Finalists will be notified early October and participate in Pitch Day in front of a live, global, hybrid audience during the Frontiers Health Global Conference, Nov 11-12, 2021 (either virtually or in-presence in Milan, Italy). Finalists will also have the potential opportunity to collaborate on a market launch of the proposal in 2022 under the guidance of Pfizer experts.
