Digital Health meets Art Nouveau: Frontiers Health Announces Palazzo Castiglioni as the Venue in Milan City Centre

Venues have always been an integral part of the conference experience meant to inspire through history or architecture and let our guest immerse into the content.

In 2020 the pandemic made us switch to virtual and this year, at the dawn of the new normal, the conference switched to a full hybrid format both physical and on-line at the same time.

We are happy to share that physical event is back and moved to Milan, the European capital of convergence, where innovation, design and technology allow for the exchange of ideas. It will all take place at Palazzo Castiglioni, the first Art Nouveau building in the heart of Milan, an absolutely breathtaking location.

Likewise Frontiers Health, Palazzo Castiglioni was a true innovation: the building in a ‘trendy’ Art Nouveau style (also called ‘Liberty style’) was a major disruption for the sober Neoclassic historic center of Milan. It also posed a challenge to the Milanese conservative élite of early 1900s because of its monumental size, the severe facade and the episode of the two female nude sculptures by Ernesto Bazzaro.

The palace was erected for an entrepreneur Ermenegildo Castiglioni by the architect Giuseppe Sommaruga, who was chosen to create the building because of his unconventional style.

The physical event of Frontiers Health 2021 will be held in strict compliance with the local health regulations and with the highest attention to the safety of our guests.

Register here and come discover Milan together with us or join the conference online on 11-12th of November!
