Venture Capital Trends in Digital Health 2021
Healthcare remains one of the least digitized industries, and global Healthcare spend amounted to $8.3tn in 2020. Although digital health is finally reaching critical mass, digital services account for only > 3% of global healthcare expenditure. More than a year into the pandemic, investment in digital health startups worldwide exploded. With an investment volume of $20.1bn, H1 2021 saw more funding than all of 2020. This presentation gives an overview of the overall drivers, investment trends, and activities.
