As the former General Manager of Novonesis' Advanced Proteins unit, Valerio led pioneering efforts in sustainable protein innovations, aligning business goals with global sustainability needs.

He is the founder of Nannini & Partners Ltd, a consultancy firm that bridges the gap between start-ups, VCs, and corporates, fostering innovation-driven collaborations.

At Nestlé, Valerio held the position of SVP, where he played a key role in shaping the company’s global innovation strategy across multiple markets.

With international experience across Europe, Asia, Africa, the US, and Latin America, Valerio holds an MBA from the University of Wales and a Certificate in Lifelong Executive Learning from IMD Business School in Lausanne. He is a citizen of Britain, Switzerland, and Italy.
