I’m Dr. Gil Blander, a scientist, entrepreneur, and someone who’s deeply passionate about helping people live longer, healthier lives. I founded InsideTracker over a decade ago to bring science, digital health, and data-driven personalization together in a way that empowers individuals to take control of their well-being. What started as a bold idea has grown into a leading healthspan platform with over 100,000 users, leveraging blood biomarkers, DNA, wearables, food tracking, and AI to deliver truly personalized health guidance.
As the Chief Scientific Officer at InsideTracker, I work at the intersection of biology, technology, and behavior change, helping transform the latest research into tools people can use every day. I’m especially excited about how AI is accelerating our ability to interpret complex health data and make longevity science more actionable and scalable.
I also host the Longevity by Design podcast, where I speak with top scientists, clinicians, and innovators shaping the future of health and lifespan. Before InsideTracker, I earned my PhD in biology from the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel and completed postdoctoral research at MIT, focusing on aging and caloric restriction.
More than anything, I’m driven by the belief that we can use science and technology to radically improve the quality of life, and that the future of health is personal, proactive, and powered by data.
