An entrepreneur and board advisor, Denise Silber is a pioneering digital health communicator and influencer and an inspiring event and webinar host, keynote, as well as a published author. The founder of Basil Strategies consultancy and the Doctors 2.0 & You conferences, Denise Silber is also the co-founder of VRforHealth.com, an online platform devoted to the wellness and clinical uses of Virtual Reality, with hundreds of original articles and curated videos, and connecting the community through partnerships and services. Denise Silber is the author of an ongoing series of digital health short books for French physicians, « Le Praticien Connecté », based on engaging interviews with their peers. A member of the Virtual Advisory Board, Denise advises businesses as a Non-Executive Director.
A multi-cultural American in Paris, in 2011, Denise received France’s highest civil award, the Legion of Honor, for her work in digital health. She was named one of France’s « InspiringFifty » Women in tech in 2018, and in 2022 was invited to be a Digital EU ambassador for the European Commission. A Harvard MBA, Denise Silber serves the larger Harvard alumni community as host of the Harvard Alumni Entrepreneurs podcast. A former Vice-President of the Harvard Club of France, Denise is now joining the Harvard Club's Honorary Board.
