Andrea got a PhD in physics at Polytechnic di Torino and worked for more than 5 years in Applied Science Research, with experiences at Imperial College of London and ETH Zurich. Afterwards he worked 2 years in Tech Transfer and Patent Licensing within Polytechnic of Turin, while obtaining an EMBA in Business Innovation from MIB Trieste. Now he is CEO and co-founder of U-Care Medical. He co-authored 4 patents, published 15 peer-reviewed papers, and he is co-inventor of the two patents behind U-Care Medical core technologies.
