Artificial Intelligence and Blockchains: what we can expect in the near future?

As stated by most of the main experts in the field, we are in the midst of an “Artificial Intelligence awakening”, given that AI technologies can now match or surpass humans in fundamental skills like image recognition and also that digital technologies will definitely continue to accelerate.

This is a strategic topic that will be punctually addressed within Frontiers Health conference 2018, by Gabriel Scali, who will be holding the one-hour Masterclass “Explainable AI and Autonomous Agents in healthcare”. (November 15 – 10:15 AM – 11:15 AM)

Gabriel, Human-AI Collaboration researcher at Brunel University London – Reckon Digital/Healthware Group, will deal with the adoption of AI capabilities in healthcare problematic in certain areas, like diagnostics, from a researcher’s point of view, mainly based on two approaches: Human-Autonomy Teaming (HAT) and Explainable AI (XAI), and how they could be applied in realistic contexts. The Masterclass will include a 30 mins talk followed by 30 mins of Q&A.

Still few seats available, hurry up and register!

A deep and equally strategic debate has been taking place for some time now on the issue related to blockchains impact on Healthcare. To this end, Frontiers Health will host the Workshop “Blockchains, between hype and promising applications” held by Fabio Natali, Information Security Advisor – Reckon Digital / Healthware Group. This workshop (Nov 15 – 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM) will provide a brief historical introduction to blockchain technology and will mention some remarkable implementations from the healthcare sector and beyond. The 20-min talk will be followed by practical exercises and a final Q&A.
