Vassili Soumelis is the Chief Medical Officer of ArcaScience, a healthtech company whose AI platform is the very first to automate benefit-risk assessment, the decision at the heart of every drug approval. A physician-scientist and Professor of Immunology, he has spent his career at the intersection of biomedicine, drug discovery, and data science, from systems biology and multi-omics research at Inserm and Université Paris Cité, to the coordination of major European consortia such as ImmunAID, to executive leadership as former CMO at Owkin. At ArcaScience he leads the medical strategy behind the platform, building disease-specific verticals for areas of high unmet medical need and ensuring its predictions translate into real-world impact for pharmaceutical partners and, ultimately, patients.
