Uwe Diegel was a concert pianist until the age of 26. Following an accident that restricted movement in his right arm, he started a new career in medical diagnostics. He has been CEO of some of the world’s best-known medical diagnostics companies, including Microlife France, Spengler and iHealth.

Uwe Diegel is an entrepreneur, inventor, and internationally recognized expert in connected health, cardiovascular monitoring, and patient-centered medical technology. For over 30 years, he has been at the forefront of innovation in blood pressure monitoring, helping to develop technologies that have transformed hypertension management, atrial fibrillation screening, and remote patient care.

Throughout his career, Uwe has played a leading role in the development of numerous breakthrough medical devices, combining clinical accuracy with intuitive design to make healthcare more accessible and effective. His work has contributed to millions of blood pressure monitors used worldwide and has resulted in multiple international patents in cardiovascular diagnostics and connected medical devices.

He is today the founder and CEO of Lifeina, creator of the world's smallest smart portable refrigerator for temperature-sensitive medications, and founder of HealthWorks France, a global leader in validated isothermal transport solutions for pharmaceuticals. Both companies reflect his commitment to improving patient safety and empowering people living with chronic diseases. He is also doing fundamental research in atrial fibrillation for Prolife in Switzerland.
