Susan Bratton, Founder and CEO of Savor Health, is a seasoned healthcare and finance executive who spent nearly 20 years on Wall Street advising healthcare companies on mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and restructuring. In 2012, following the loss of a close friend to glioblastoma, she launched Meals to Heal, the first cancer-focused medically tailored meal delivery company in the U.S. Recognizing that patients wanted more than convenience — they wanted knowledge and agency over their nutrition — Susan rebranded as Savor Health and evolved the model to an AI+ human supported enterprise precision nutrition Platform.
Led by Susan, a team of clinicians, engineers, and data scientists built a clinical-grade nutrition intervention Platform - a “glass box” nutrition intelligence and safety layer – and an easy-to-use text-based digital dietitian named Ina® to deliver nutrition guidance. Enterprises license the Platform and Ina® as a standalone product or via a “headless API” embedded in their product or app. Ina® has been independently validated as equivalent to human dietitians across all diet-related conditions and in general nutrition. Launched in 2019, Ina® supports the most complex and costly healthy individuals and the risk-averse clients who demand a solution of such rigor.
Susan’s mission is for nutrition to be adopted as Standard of Care in medicine and her business and product are designed to make that a realilty. She is a published scientific author (Journal of Clinical Oncology CCI, 2024 and 2025), co-author of The Meals to Heal Cookbook, and recipient of the 2023 C2 Award for Innovation in Cancer Care. A frequent speaker at forums including Harvard Medical School and ESMO, she holds a BA from Duke University and an MBA from UVA’s Darden School of Business.
