Stephane Tholander is a chemist by training and a graduate of ESCP Business School. He has over 15 years of experience in the field of innovation and has founded several companies in software and marketing consulting across sectors such as biotech, energy, defense, and aerospace. He later created Labs Explorer, a marketplace for scientific services, which was sold to Scientist.com. In 2019, he co-founded Cibiltech in the field of digital medical devices for kidney transplantation, where he secured distribution agreements and partnerships with biotech and pharmaceutical companies, and deployed reimbursed telemonitoring solutions. In 2021, his company became the first French enterprise to receive CE marking in Class IIa under the new medical device regulation. In 2022, Stephane established Agora Health to address the challenges of rapid development and deployment of digital medical devices by providing a technological foundation aimed at significantly reducing time-to-market for digital health innovations. In 2023, he launched AppThera, a platform that facilitates the prescription, delivery, and adherence to digital therapies. Additionally, he is currently Vice President of France Biotech, overseeing digital health.
