Factor4Solutions GmbH is a Berlin-based TU Berlin spin-off (founded in 2023) that provides a digital “System Orchestrating Manager”, based on Thermodynamics and featured by AI; the solution integrates with existing setups and can run offline on industrial PLCs for critical infrastructure. It allows savings up to 40%, being a co-pilot for the operators with powerful assistance tools and providing a handshake of ecological and economic sustainability. The company is represented by CEO Stefan Petersen, an experienced project lead and hard- and software developer for chillers. Results of his teams were proven in more than 50 pilot installations spanning from Uppsala, Sweden, to Petra, Jordan. Together with his co-founders— he got honored by the International Energy Agency in 2021 for excellence in research dedicated to efficient operation of heating and cooling — he brings deep expertise in intelligent system control serving large impact by minimal effort.
