Sébastien Woynar is a seasoned HealthTech investor, physician and former healthcare executive, combining over 20 years of experience across medicine, healthcare operations, technology and investment. He joined LBO France in 2018 after holding senior leadership roles in the public healthcare system and at Air Liquide Healthcare, spanning medical affairs, business management, chronic care and digital health. As an investor and Board member, Sébastien has backed and helped scale ambitious HealthTech companies, partnering closely with founders and management teams on strategy, financing, international expansion and M&A. His investment experience spans a broad range of HealthTech verticals, including AI and medical imaging, digital pathology, medical robotics, neurotechnology, diabetes and cardiology tech, sleep tech, PharmaTech, TechBio and technology-enabled healthcare. A physician by training, Sébastien holds an MD from Paris-Saclay and a Doctorate in Public Health from the University of North Carolina. He further trained in healthcare economics, strategy and management at Harvard School of Public Health, the London School of Economics, ESSEC Business School and Paris Dauphine. He has also authored several publications and books on healthcare management and care delivery.
