Paul Aretin is the CEO and co-founder of coobi, a data platform empowering mental health therapies, starting with addiction. Founded on the deeply personal experience of watching a close friend undergo addiction treatment, Paul recognized the critical gaps in relapse prevention and continuous patient care. This inspired him to create coobi, a platform that uses machine learning and digital biomarkers, such as HRV, sleep patterns, and stress levels, to identify relapse risk phases early and provide therapists and patients with actionable insights.
Before launching coobi, Paul was the first employee at Lendis, a fast-growing startup, where he gained hands-on experience in scaling innovative solutions. He then worked in healthcare strategy consulting at KPMG. Paul holds a degree in Economics from LMU Munich and the University of Edinburgh.
Paul is committed to transforming mental health treatment by leveraging AI and digital biomarkers to support both patients and therapists in achieving lasting recovery. Through coobi, he aims to make evidence-based, personalized care accessible to clinics and patients across Europe.
