Päivi Sillanaukee is the Special Envoy for Health and Wellbeing at the MSAH of Finland. She served as the Ambassador for Health and Wellbeing at the MFA of Finland 2019-2023 and as the Permanent Secretary at the MSAH 2012-2019. She was the DG of the Department for Social and Health Services 2008-2012 at the MSAH. Previously, she was the Deputy Mayor and Director of Social and Health Services in the City of Tampere. Dr Silllanaukee is a specialist in public health and management and doctor honoris causa from the University of Helsinki. She has worked on several policies in the EU and at the global level. She rep-resented Finland in the WHO EB and served as its first and third Vice Chair, has also served as Executive President of the WHO RC for Europe and has been member of the HIMSS Board of Directors. She is Member of the Health AI Board.
