Nicola Filzmoser is a digital health expert and ecosystem builder with a specific focus on paediatric health innovation. She co-founded Happyr Health, where she built evidence-based digital tools for children and young people living with chronic pain, partnering with hospitals including Great Ormond Street Hospital. Across seven years in the health innovation ecosystem, she has supported founders, incubators, and accelerators including Cambridge Judge Business School, ESMT Berlin, and currently as head of program at Vision Health Pioneers. She leads the Health AI Forum, a Global Shapers Berlin initiative bringing together clinicians, patients, and policymakers to advance transparent and equitable use of AI in healthcare. She also serves as Berlin City Lead for CAMentrepreneurs, the official entrepreneurship community of Cambridge University alumni. Nicola holds a postgraduate qualification in Entrepreneurship from Cambridge Judge Business School and an MSc in Healthcare and Design from Imperial College London and the Royal College of Art, a combination that shapes her approach to needs-based innovation in complex health systems. At Frontiers Health 2026, she makes the case for why paediatric-first design is not a niche concern but a systemic responsibility.
