Dr. Moredreck Chibi is an internationally recognized leader in public health innovation, currently driving strategic initiatives at WHO Europe, where he has coordinated the development of a strategy for harnessing innovation for public health as well as an innovation agenda for the region. Previously, Dr. Chibi served as Regional Adviser for Science and Innovation at WHO Africa, pioneering Africa’s first regional Strategy for Scaling Health Innovations and chairing a UN coalition advancing the Sustainable Development Goals through science and digital transformation. With over twenty years of experience in research, development, and policy innovation within WHO regional offices and headquarters, he is known for launching large-scale challenges, building innovation platforms for public health, and and fostering international collaborations. Dr. Chibi holds a PhD in Medical Biosciences, a Swiss Executive MBA in Innovation Management, and an MPH from Imperial College London. His passion is advancing evidence-driven, equitable innovations that address global health needs in diverse contexts.
