Kathrin is a healthcare professional with over 30 years of global leadership experience. Having served as Vice President at Merck KGaA until 2022, she amassed a vast experience in and around innovation and R&D, contributing to her international perspectives and strategic acumen. Today, as business angel and executive advisor, she purposefully supports female entrepreneurs with finance, experience, and her network. Kathrin is co-founder and chair of BackingHerVenture, a Europe-based non-profit with the mission to ensure that women as founders & entrepreneurial leaders in the healthcare & life sciences industry gain access, support and confidence to leadership, capital, and opportunity.
