Jordi Guitart, PhD, is Senior Vice President of AI Health & Pharma at M47 Labs. His career spans over three decades across business management, strategic consulting, and technology, with hands-on experience in software development, advanced analytics, ML, and AI. For the past 20 years, he has led innovation-driven HealthTech and Pharma initiatives grounded in technology and data, adopting AI by 2016. Between 2016 and 2025, Jordi served as Chief Technology and Data Officer at UCL spinoff Spoonful of Sugar, addressing medication adherence through behavioural medicine; VP of AI at Aizon, focusing on monoclonal antibody manufacturing; and CEO of Science4Tech, an AI-native startup devoted to accelerating clinical trials in oncology. His current focus is AI-generated synthetic patients, a field in which he has recently published in Frontiers in Digital Health and is co-authoring a second paper on synthetic patients for rare disease.
Jordi also provides senior advisory and mentorship to AI-based startups and SMBs and has conducted technology assessments in M&A and Venture Capital transactions.
Since 2019, he serves as adjunct professor of strategic management in the Executive MBA program at ESIC Business & Marketing School.
