Isabelle Zablit Schmitz is an international Advisor in Digital Health at Scale4Health, specialising in the transformation of health systems and care delivery in the AI and European Health Data Space (EHDS) era. She brings senior public and private sector experience to support EU, national and international initiatives, with a focus on removing structural barriers, driving efficiency, ensuring respect for values and ethics, and enabling scale through pragmatic implementation. She previously served as Europe and International Director for Digital Health at the French Ministry of Health, where she led international digital health cooperation, managed major European partnerships and projects, and played a key role in EHDS negotiations, representing France at EU and international level. An expert on EU-funded projects, entrepreneur, intrapreneur and executive, she founded two digital health start ups and held senior leadership roles in finance, business transformation, IT outsourcing, competitive intelligence and business development at IBM, PwC, Tenneco Automotive and LafargeHolcim. She proposed and created the Health Data hosting offering of IBM France. A certified board member, she has served on boards and advisory bodies including the French Speaking Society for Digital Health (SFSN), DIGITALEUROPE, Numeum, IHEST, EU funded projects, digital health start ups and a social care institution. She also teaches in higher education, most recently at Paris I Panthéon Sorbonne and INSP. She is an engineer from Solvay Brussels School, holds an aggregation in Economic and Social Sciences, and is an auditor of IHEST.
