Ira is a Senior Policy Advisor at the German Federal Ministry of Health in Division 511 (New technologies, secondary use and ethics in health care). Previously, she worked as an attorney focusing on data protec-tion and health data law, earning a specialist certification in IT law. Her academic background includes a Master’s degree in Budapest, legal clerkship in Berlin and Bangkok, and a law degree from Berlin. With her expertise at the intersection of law, technology, and healthcare, she is committed to fostering the secure and innovative use of data in the health sector. Her main focus at the moment is the implementa-tion of the Regulation on the European Health Data Space in Germany.
