Dr. Florian Hauer is a scientific entrepreneur and the Co-Founder and CEO of MyImmune. He is driven by a passion for digitization in life sciences and healthcare , believing that new algorithms and better connectivity between all players can make the world a better place. Previously, Florian co-founded Labforward GmbH, where he held roles as both COO and CPO. As COO, he led the operational setup and scaling of departments including legal, HR, and sales, growing the company from 1 to 100 employees. Later, as CPO, he established a nine-team product and professional service department and scaled the service as a driver for the growth of the company. Florian's entrepreneurial career is built on his scientific background as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Max-Planck Institute for Natural Sciences , where his research included the structural elucidation of membrane proteins and algorithm development. He holds a doctorate from the Max-Planck Institute, where his thesis focused on three-dimensional electron microscopy.
