As a co-managing director Cornelia plays a pivotal role in building GOLDTRACK Ventures, lighthouse life science, technology and general venture capital fund platforms in Europe and Saudi Arabia, spearheading international strategic initiatives to attracting high-impact investments, fostering collaborations with key stakeholders, and driving the development of innovative funding solutions to support groundbreaking advancements in biotechnology and healthcare as well as other innovative deeptech topics. Her professional journey spans over 25 years in investor relations, international venture capital, corporate communications, entrepreneurship and is an active investor in a range of technology and life science sectors. She headed Investor Relations to stock listed JENOPTIK AG, before setting up the German Investment arm of a UK VC fund manager. With a passion for life science Cornelia currently supports leap:up (former BIOSAXONY), successful life sciences association, based in Saxony, Germany, to grow the investment profile of the region, through actively campaigning international for access to capital and building a strong cluster, whilst deploying investor relations advice. During the 20th legislative term Cornelia was a member of the Sustainable Finance Advisory Board of the German Federal Government. This enabled her to help bridging the gaps between diverse stakeholders, fostering the development of sustainable finance standards and innovative products. She is a leading voice behind the international committee of the German Female Entrepreneurs Association and initiator and board member of BAM! Business Angel Network of Central Germany. She serves as a technical advisor to the Astia angel network in the U.S. and is a cofounding member of RCDI, Rotary Club Dresden International.
