Chiara Maiorino is a healthcare innovation professional with over ten years of experience in innovation ecosystem management, technology transfer, and startup and SME development within the healthtech and life sciences sectors. She currently serves as Ecosystem Lead for Italy at EIT Health InnoStars, where she coordinates a national network of partners — including universities, research centers, companies, and incubators — fostering public–private collaborations, access to European programs, and funding opportunities. Previously, she worked at Città della Scienza and the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna in Pisa, focusing on technology transfer, research valorization, and innovation-driven entrepreneurship. Chiara holds a PhD in Molecular Medicine from Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele, an Executive MBA from Politecnico di Milano, and advanced training in Tech Transfer and Open Innovation. She is passionate about European innovation ecosystems, sustainable healthcare policies, and venture building, with a clear mission: to bridge research, business, and society to build more productive and sustainable healthcare systems.
