Dr Catriona Maybury, MBChB, MRCP (Derm), PhD, is a digital health leader and Consultant Dermatologist with a particular interest in metabolic health, and more than 20 years’ experience in medicine. She is Chief Medical Officer at Boots Digital Health, where she oversees clinical services and research for Boots Online Doctor and contributes to research across the wider Boots organisation. She previously led the medical team at HeliosX (MedExpress), working at the intersection of clinical care, technology and digitally delivered healthcare. She trained in dermatology at St John’s Institute of Dermatology and completed a PhD at King’s College London investigating the causes of liver fibrosis in people with severe psoriasis. Catriona has a strong background in clinical research, medical leadership and healthcare innovation. She has published real-world evidence on GLP-1 treatment outcomes in digitally delivered weight management, and is passionate about digital-first clinical research that brings studies closer to the patients they serve. She is also an accredited career coach, supporting doctors and healthcare professionals with leadership and career development.
