Bernhard Hufenbach is Team Leader for Commercialisation and Innovation in the European Space Agency's Directorate of Human and Robotic Exploration. With more than 35 years at ESA, he has shaped international space exploration strategies, developed global partnerships, and pioneered initiatives such as the Business in Space Growth Network to accelerate commercialisation and innovation. His work focuses on building innovation ecosystems that connect industry, research, and institutions to transform space capabilities into sustainable economic value and new markets for Europe.
