Attila Csikász-Nagy is co-founder and CEO of Cytocast, a techbio company developing cell-scale simulation and digital-twin platforms to transform drug discovery and personalized medicine. His earlier scientific work established him as a leader in systems and computational biology, with contributions to the mathematical modeling of cell-cycle control, biological network dynamics, and cell–cell communication—research that laid the conceptual and methodological foundations for today’s whole-cell modeling efforts. At Cytocast, he is translating these approaches into scalable software that integrates mechanistic models with multi-omics and imaging data to predict drug efficacy, safety, and patient-specific responses. This focus positions Cytocast at the intersection of AI-enabled biology and de-risked therapeutic development, offering investors a clear path from fundamental science to high-impact, commercializable technology.
