Alexane Gurwic, PharmD, is Independent Advisor, Digital Health & Customer Engagement, based in Basel. She works where medical and commercial teams meet, making sure scientific content and medical education reach physicians and patients in a way they can use, and looking at what changed in practice afterwards.
At Roche France, she launched the country's first pharma patient community on social media, still running today. At Roche Global, she shaped the omnichannel strategy behind the cancer immunotherapy concept. At Boehringer Ingelheim Switzerland, she led a three year omnichannel transformation and worked with Medical Affairs on a programme helping physicians become aware of the underdiagnosis of chronic kidney disease.
She makes digital health innovation work within the rules pharma operates under.
Today, she explores how AI, used responsibly, can make medical communication more useful. She co-authored the white paper "The Value Gap in HCP Engagement".
She is curious to hear what others have already tried with AI.
